Season 5
The Forgotten Duncism and the Timeless City of Canada
In the time between seasons, the rise and fall of Duncism occurred, and nowadays, no one remembers it ever existed. Canada, from Season 1, still exists and is now one of the oldest and largest cities on Catena. Because of this, it has become a hotspot for archaeologists and historians. There are also rumors in Canada about two mystical towns called Sakura and Marina: one being a town of people in tune with nature, and the other a town of fish people in tune with the seas. However, no one knows if these towns actually exist.
Archeo-Arrowl's Quest and the Relics of Sakura
The historical aspect of Canada attracts Archeo-Arrowl, a young archaeologist who left his home in Groovystan after a fight with his parents, with the goal of opening a museum one day. After realizing that Airbnb rent prices in Canada are through the roof, he moves to Sakura and continues his research there. During his research, he finds three relics: a fishing rod named "I Apologize," which he gives to Minty; a crossbow named "GUN," which he gives to Ry; and a trident named "Spork," which he gives to Eel.
Magz and the Hunt by Borgir Co.
Magz appears in this time period after trying to travel back to her time from Season 4. Borgir Co, a mega-corporation, notices her and tries to hunt her down, unsuccessfully. Magz hides near Turtle's home, trying not to be seen, as that would disturb the timeline. Turtle lives in Marina; she's really sheltered and doesn't talk to people much.
The Hidden Prince and His Human Experiments
Eel is the (adoptive) prince of Marina and also has a basement where he experiments on any unfortunate human travelers that make their way to Marina. Turtle and Eel are a turtle person and an eel person, respectively. Shocking. Except Eel is actually a secret shapeshifter but doesn't want the people of Marina to know because he's scared they wouldn't accept him as one of their own, so he just presents as an eel person. He's also related to the previous Eels and also appears from a crystal. He lures Arrowl to move to Marina to kidnap him for his human experiment basement, but catches feelings instead. They date.
Elliot's Timely Arrival and the Formation of SPAM CO.
Elliot also travels through time to Season 5 from Season 3, this time successfully appearing in the desired time period right before the IRONHILL Hospital opens so he can be at the beginning of the waiting list. Elliot moves into Sakura as well and starts SPAM CO. SPAM CO. later works together with BREAKER Co. and Borgir Co. to develop Canada's port, Rhode Island. At the end of the season, he marries Camela Harris and departs from the port of Rhode Island
Alix's Kingdom of IRONHILL
Alix is an interdimensional traveler who is freaked out by the fact that everything around them is made of blocks. He builds up the kingdom of IRONHILL, including the hospital that Elliot traveled through time for, and the Ironhill Zoo.
The Pretty Pink Protectorate and Their Legacy
The Pretty Pink Protectorate (PPP) also exists. They have the mission of protecting and spreading the color pink in nature and are comprised of Jordan, Ry (the same Ry from Seasons 2 and 4, who is really old now), Adoge (real name Seymore, who comes from Jumanji), and Beagle. The PPP disbands, and all the members go their own ways. Adoge moves to a boat in Rhode Island, and Beagle moves to Sakura where he starts his brick business.
Unique Inhabitants and Unlikely Relationships
Spoops is a manta ray person from Marina who marries Barnabus the camel in Sakura. Minty is a coral person from Marina and an oracle who uses fishing rods to make fortunes, later using the "I Apologize" relic for them. Rocket is a lifeguard who lives in Bundu Cove, a vacation resort.
