A picture of Ryan's Season 4 skin

Ryan (aka. Ry or smolpumpkinrys) is one of the members and a former moderator of the Chained Fates server.

They originally joined the server in Season 2 and have been in most Seasons since. In Season 3, Ryan based far away from spawn as they had a different plan that strayed from the server lore too heavily. During Season 4, the server owner Arrowl made Ryan a moderator to help out around the Discord- and Minecraft server. After the start of Season 5 Ryan quit as a moderator and is now a regular player on the server again.

Overview

Ryan joined half way through Season 2 after Arrowl offered tours of the server. These tours never ended up happening but Ryan stayed on the server and built a British-themed cottage about 2000 blocks away from spawn. Later, Ryan's spouse Jordan joined the server as well and moved in with Ryan. There is a minecart rail system in the Nether to access the base from Spawn.

Buildings

  • Greenhouse that doubled as a bee farm for honey & honeycomb
  • British-themed cottage (main house)
  • Storage room next to the cottage
  • Raft on the river (replica of Ryan & Jordan's raft in the game Raft)
  • Mushroom Axolotl pond

Shops

  • Grindr - offered service to grind for materials (price per chest)
  • Oh Honey - sold Honeycomb and candles

Overview

In Season 3, Ryan and Jordan based together once more, far away from spawn or the Three City Nation. They settled on a big hill next to a huge cave and built a base that connects to itself so you can walk through it in a linear way. The best way to get to this base is through the Nether. Unfortunately, there was no Highway this season that was connected to the portal.

Buildings

  • Initial house & storage at the bottom of the mountain
  • Door in the mountain which led to a bee farm cave
  • Aquarium house (has Axolotls mostly)
  • Smelting house just next to the Aquarium one
  • Hobbit hole which contains a shortcut to a castle like structure
  • Viewpoint house which connects the Hobbit hole with the most upper portion of the mountain
  • Dripleaf Abode - highest house elevation wise

Season 4

Overview

First lore-driven season. Season 4 started with two settlements, Mangrove Town and Azalea Town. Ryan resided in Azalea Town, just over the mountain and out of view of the city. They based alone this season and heavily included Amethyst, Sculk, Deepslate tiles, and oxidized Copper in their base. The Amethyst castle, as it would later be dubbed, was the biggest base yet and even won an End Of Season Award, which are voted by the members of Chained Fates.

Main Square
  • Main Square Crystal - middle point of the main square, built from mainly glass and Amethyst
  • Amethyst Tower - Lookout tower that was used as a launch/land point for Elytras

  • Lone tower - lone tower at the back of the base, facing Adoge's base. Was used to house one (1) villager

Season 5

Overview

Season 5 was very brief as Ryan and Arrowl got into an argument which caused Ryan to leave the server for a while. There were 2 settlements during the season, Marina and Sakura, neither of which Ryan settled in. Their base was connected to the Nether Hub via a bridge, which later got destroyed for lore's sake.

Buildings

At base
  • Colourful cottage - Big cottage that contains a storage, farms, a bedroom, enchanting area, more storage, smelting setup, and the Nether portal

  • Fishing hut - fishing hut on the other side of the river which was connected via bridge
Shopping district

Miniseasons

Season Fall

Everyone was set to Creative mode and Ryan built a little bunker attached to the world border along with having a room in Eel's bunker.

Season Winter

A hardcore mini-season between seasons. Ryan got some really weird achievements for a mini-season like this such as the Caves & Cliffs achievement (maniac).
